QPICC 2023

The Queensland Pacific Island Cultural Carnival is three days of cultural sharing and rugby league.

United by rugby league, the annual gathering aims to connect Queensland Pasifika communities and is a profound way of celebrating various cultures and identities together.

This year in 2023, the tournament will celebrate it’s 10th anniversary and will unite under the theme of “It’s up to us”, which was the inaugural theme in 2013.

The 2023 theme underpins our love for all our Pasifika and Māori people to bring the best of our culture to QPICC.

QPICC also aims provide Pacific youth the opportunity to participate in a cultural environment to showcase and express their identity through language and performance, with rugby league utilised as the vehicle to enhance cultural experiences and learning.

There are also cultural food and merchandising stalls with Island-inspired food, drinks and clothing, plus much more.
